July 25, 2007 - Argentine media outlet TyC Sports reported on the Argentine men's national Olympic soccer team.

After confirming that the match had not actually ended, members of the IOC have expressed their desire for the match to continue and complete the remaining time. However, Argentina and Morocco refused to play again with the approval of FIFA.

After another 40 minutes, the authorities asked both teams to warm up and wait for the referee to review Argentina's equalizing goal via the VAR system. If the goal is ruled valid, the match will end 2-2; if the goal is offside, a few more minutes of play will be required.

Offside was eventually confirmed and the game was kicked off for a few minutes after the resumption, but Argentina were unable to equalize and ended up losing 1-2.

In the match between Argentina and Morocco in the first round of Group B of the men's soccer group stage of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Argentina scored a goal in the 106th minute, resulting in a scoreless draw.
