According to South Korean media OSEN reported that the Chinese Football Association had invited Jin Jiekun to take up the post of head coach of China's U21 national team, but was rejected by Jin Jiekun.

Yesterday, South Korean head coach Kim Judge Kun, who has been coaching the Malaysian men's soccer team for more than two years and has a good record, announced his resignation as head coach of the Malaysian men's soccer team. A source told the Korean media that Kim Jong-kun was invited to coach China's U21 national team, but he did not accept due to the inappropriate conditions offered by the Chinese Football Association (CFA).

In addition, there are many other Chinese Super League teams that intended to have Kim Judge Gon coach them, but ended up choosing other coaches.
