The roster. Goalkeeper Suzuki Choyan was not selected, while Mitsuhashi Koura was absent due to injury. Japan has won all four rounds of the World Qualifying Tournament and accumulated 12 points, locking up the top two spots in their group, advancing to the Round of 18 and qualifying for the 2027 Asian Cup.

Japan will face Myanmar on June 6 in the World Qualifier, followed by a match against Syria on June 11th. These two matches will be important opportunities for Japan to continue to show its strength and consolidate its position at the top of the group.
