Radio Catalunya reportedly said that Laporta will not attend Barcelona's final game of the season.
Laporta and Xavi will meet next Monday or Tuesday, when the entire Barcelona Sporting Commission will attend. Sporting director Deco will play a key role in the meeting, summarizing the season's achievements and challenges, analyzing the state of the team and suggesting personnel changes for next season. Members of Xavi's team will also attend the meeting, including his brother assistant coach Oscar.
Barcelona will make a decision at the meeting, and whatever the decision is, it will need to be approved by the Barcelona board.
At the weekend, Laporta will not be able to be there to watch Barcelona's final league game in person, but he will travel to Bilbao to watch Barcelona Women's Champions League final.
