The Chinese Football Association (CFA) today announced a list of 29 players for the Chinese men's soccer team preparing for the world qualifiers in June. Among them, veteran Wu Xi once again dropped out of the list, following the World Qualifier in March.

On July 28, 2011, the 22-year-old Wu Xi made his national team debut in China's 6-1 away win over Laos in a World Cup qualifier.

So far, Wu Xi has represented the national soccer team in 90 international A-level matches, scoring 9 goals. Wu Xi has made 13 appearances for Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League this season, scoring 1 goal and registering 1 assist.
