The AFC today announced a three-tier league system for the men's club game. The AFC Elite League will feature the top six teams from the AFC's East and West Asia Divisions; the AFC II League will be made up of the top twelve teams, including the bottom six teams from the AFC Elite League and those who failed to advance in the AFC Elite League, and the AFC Pick'em League will be made up of the AFC II teams and the bottom-ranked teams from the teams in the other associations. Instead of limiting the AFC, AFC Pick and AFC II to their own separate spheres, the three-tier league system allows for more communication than in the past, with the losing teams in the AFC and AFC II not leaving the tournaments immediately but being able to continue to participate at the next level of competition.

The quota allocation table is a default setting and the actual situation may be slightly adjusted due to club access, tournament title retention, etc.)
