Xie Wenneng burst onto the scene for Taishan during the 2023 season, making 17 appearances and scoring four goals in league and cup matches to become the team's new favorite winger. This season, Xie continued to be a key player on the Taishan wing, eventually scoring his first goal of the season against Wuhan. For Xie Wenneng, completing 100 career games at the age of 23 is no easy task, and his development experience will inspire more young players.

Objectively speaking, if a player fails to establish himself in the top league at the age of 19 or 20, it is crucial that he should take the plunge and leave to the lower leagues to polish himself and gain experience. Xie Wenneng's success is the best example of this, as the confidence and composure he shows on the pitch stems from his league experience. Hopefully, Xie Wenneng will steadily improve in the future and become a pillar of the Taishan side.
