On March 1, 2019, Oscar joined Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic, a promoted team in the Central League, becoming the first foreign aid in the team's history. During his time with Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic, Oscar scored 22 goals and 2 assists in 26 matches, and was honored as the 2019 Central League Golden Boot.
In February 202020, Oscar joined the Chinese Super League after moving from his previous team to promoted team Shijiazhuang Yongchang. Since then, Oscar has been playing for Shijiazhuang Yongchang. In 2021, Yongchang Football Club relocated to Cangzhou and was renamed Cangzhou Lions.
Oscar has played five seasons with the Cangzhou Lions, accumulating over 100 appearances, 30 goals and 19 assists.
