The Chinese Football Association (CFA) has made a decision to penalize Qingdao Red Lions player Chen Jiaqi, who received a red card in the second round of the Central League.
After the referee blew the whistle in the 72nd minute of the Qingdao Red Lions' 0-0 draw with the Foshan Southern Lions in the second round, Chen Jiaqi committed a violent act, hitting an opposing player with his chest and shoulder, and saw red on the spot.
In accordance with the relevant regulations, the FA suspended him for three matches and fined him 30,000 yuan.
In that game, Chen Jiaqi had a poor performance and apart from being sent off, he also failed to score a successful penalty in the 32nd minute.
