In the away match against Crystal Palace, Liverpool goalkeeper Yarosh made his first-team debut and managed to help his team keep a clean sheet and eventually take three points. After the match, he was interviewed and shared his feelings and experience.
It feels really good, it's something I could only dream of as a kid," said Yarosh. As a goalkeeper, it does come with some pressure when you go on the pitch, especially in a game like this. But I am happy to have managed to keep a clean sheet and pick up three points for the team."
He went on to talk about how quickly he got into the game: "You have to find that focus and get into the game right away. In the game, they got a set piece very quickly and put some pressure on us. That in turn helped me get into the game quicker and made me more focused."
Yarosh added that being able to play and make his debut was a great reward for his daily efforts: "Like everyone in the team, I work hard every day. For me, it's a great recognition and reward to be able to play and make my debut. I will continue to work hard and contribute to the team."
