Chelsea defender Renato Vega recently spoke to the Mirror and shared his thoughts on the atmosphere in the Chelsea team and his personal role.

Speaking about the team, Renato Vega said: "Chelsea have a very good team, every player is doing well and has positive values. We have a very good relationship and are trying to create a family atmosphere, always keeping in mind that Chelsea's interests are paramount. There is a lot of solidarity within the team and there are no cliques as I have seen in other teams before. At Chelsea, we are like a big family and everyone feels like an integral part of it."

When asked if he thought he had been able to replace Cucurelia, Renato Vega showed humility and team spirit: "It's not a question I can decide. I'm focused on doing my job and Cucurelia is equally focused on his duties. He is a very good person and a great player. We have a healthy rivalry, motivating each other and improving together. But the most important thing is the overall performance of the team. To the outside world, we may appear to be rivals, but that's not really the case. We just need to show our respective strengths and enjoy the game for what it is."

Renato Vega also emphasized the importance of versatility: "I think it's very important for players to be able to play more than one position. This way, I can help the team in any way possible. When you put in the effort in the pursuit of a win, it's a completely different feeling than working through a draw or a loss. Therefore, we give our all in every game because Chelsea is always our primary target."
