In his post-match interview following the 0-1 defeat at home to Liverpool, Crystal Palace defender Chalobah reflects on the game and expresses his expectations for the future.

Chalobah began by saying, "It's obviously not the result we wanted, but it means a lot to me to make my debut at home. The fans were fantastic and their support made me feel at home."

He went on to talk about his team's performance in the second half: "We played much better in the second half and created many chances. Unfortunately, we lacked the details to capitalize on our chances and were not able to convert them into goals. Facing a strong team like Liverpool, we know how strong and threatening they are, so it's important to take any chance and try to capitalize on it."

Despite the loss, Chalobah remains confident about the team's future: "Now we need to rest up and get ready to go again. After the international day the league will start again and we need to really start picking up points and then believe in ourselves and get back on track. I believe we are capable of doing that."

Finally, he thanked the fans again for their support, "The fans sang throughout the game and I was deeply touched by their enthusiasm. They will be part of this journey and we will work together to bring better results for Crystal Palace."
