In Manchester City's 3-2 home win over Fulham in the 7th round of the English Premier League, goal scorer Doku was interviewed by the media after the match to share his feelings and views.
Docku began by expressing his satisfaction with his performance, "I was pleased with my performance today and feel that it has been gradually improving the last few times. Although I'm not at my best level or form at the beginning of the season, I'm sure it will get better and I know good numbers will follow."
Speaking about his team's goalkeeper Ederson, Doku spoke highly of his performance: "There is no doubt about Ederson's outstanding performance as a goalkeeper, he has saved us many times, not only in this game. He has always stepped up to help us at crucial moments and is very solid even when he is holding the ball. He is a very reliable goalkeeper and a great pillar of our team."
On the team's start to the season, Doku said, "We're still in contention, we're still in the title race. Whether we are ranked first, second or third, I don't really care. The important thing is that we haven't fallen out of the race. This game against Fulham won't decide whether we will be champions or not, we just need to take it one game at a time, there are still a lot of points waiting to be won. We are focused on the next game and that's who we are."
