In a Serie A match, Napoli defeated Como 3-1. After the match, Napoli goalkeeper Capriles was interviewed by the media to review and summarize the match.
Speaking about the game, Capriles said, "We did have some difficulties in the first half today, but then we found our rhythm in the second half and ended up winning the game deservedly. We were almost completely in control in the second half. I personally enjoy it every time I stand on the field and play, so we'll see what the future holds."
Regarding the first half in which his team conceded a goal, Capriles opined, "We did have some trouble in the first half, and like I said before, we backed off a little bit after the goal. To be honest, Espeto scored a beautiful goal that went under Buongiorno's legs and I don't think I take any responsibility for that."
On the team's growth, Capriles said, "After every game we realize that the team is getting stronger and stronger, but we are also aware that there is still a lot of room for improvement. Today's first half wasn't exactly ideal, but in the locker room we were upfront with each other and determined to tell ourselves that we had a chance to win this game."
When asked what manager Conte said to them at halftime, Capriles revealed, "We made two or three adjustments in defense. I think the team was able to show its full strength next."
Speaking about the different feelings he had at Napoli compared to his previous stint at Empoli, Capriles said, "Without a doubt, the biggest challenge was joining a big club that seeks to win. Here, the team is under less pressure and the goalkeeper has relatively fewer tasks. I try to help my teammates by making my presence felt more by shouting and standing up."
Regarding the reasons for the poor first half performance, Capriles believes that it was mainly because the opposition played well: "They have won games in Bergamo, which means that they are really not to be underestimated. We retreated during the game, but it wasn't the coach's plan, it was a natural result of the game."
