In a recent interview with the media, Napoli sporting director Christian Manner spoke at length about some of the current state of the team, including the renewal of Kvaratskhelya's contract and the situation with this summer's new signing, McTominay.

Regarding Kvaratskhelya's contract extension, Manner said, "Kvaratskhelya's situation is very clear at the moment and he has three years left on his contract. We are in discussions about a contract extension, but at the moment we don't feel any pressure. Because the team has a lot of other work to deal with, we will have a calm discussion with his agent and himself at an appropriate time. We are not in a hurry to make a decision but want to find a solution that will benefit both parties."

Manna further emphasized the importance and trust that Napoli has in Kvaratskhelya, but also said that the team is not going to disrupt the overall pace of work because of the contract renewal issue. They want to properly address the future of the young striker while ensuring the stable development of the team.

In addition, Manner also talked about McTominay, who is new to the team this summer. He said, "McTominay is a very important player who has played for Manchester United and has a lot of experience in the game. It was not easy to bring him to Napoli, but the player's personal will played a decisive role. We scouted him thoroughly and finally decided to bring him in. Now we are ready and very happy with his arrival."

Manna believes that the addition of McTominay will further enhance Napoli's strength and competitiveness. He believes the new recruit can play a key role in the team and bring more victories to the team.
