According to a new report from Daily Sport, FC Barcelona (Barcelona) is in talks with Polish

Striker Robert Lewandowski is in active negotiations over a contract extension, with plans to extend his contract until 2026. The decision means that Levan will continue to be a central force in the team's La Liga campaign beyond the upcoming 2024-25 season.

Reports indicate that despite being 36 years old, Lewandowski still maintains his amazing athleticism and strong desire to win. He has won almost every honor that can be won as a footballer, breaking countless goal-scoring records and becoming a legend at top European clubs such as Bayern Munich. However, for Levine, these achievements have not satisfied him, and he still aspires to continue in the elite ranks.

Levan has been particularly impressive in the early part of the season, with his fitness, agility, strength and start-up speed comparable to his peak. This has been made possible by his rigorous self-discipline and his wife Anna's dedication as a personal trainer. The arrival of Frick has also brought a new lease of life to Levan, as the relationship they built up during their time at Bayern has continued, and has quickly returned to its best form since Frick's arrival.

Levan's current contract with Barcelona expires in the summer of 2025, but it contains a clause that automatically extends it to a fourth year, provided he plays a certain percentage of games (close to 50%). With Levan's current frequency of appearances and form, he will soon reach that condition. So far, he has made his debut in all official matches this season, making him one of the longest-serving players under Furyk.

In the team, Levan not only plays an important offensive role, but is also the leader of the locker room. His goal scoring stats (9 goals and 2 assists in 10 games) are at the level of his peak at Bayern, even surpassing his performances in the past two seasons at Barcelona. After Ter Stegen's injury, Levan also made an active push to bring in Szczesny, introducing a new strength to the team.

Barcelona know all about Levan's performances and plan to continue relying on him as the centerpiece of the team next season. The club will start planning for next season in the first quarter of 2025, but will not include the star winger in its reinforcement list. The honeymoon period between Levan and Barcelona seems to be unbreakable for the time being, and he is living happily with his family, friends (and now Szczesny's addition to the team) at Castelldefels.

Going forward, Barcelona will gradually pave the way for the 2026-27 season, but Levan will undoubtedly continue to play a key role over the next few seasons. His contract extension is not only a recognition of his individual ability, but also an important part of Barcelona's plans for the future.
