It's official, former Chengdu Rongcheng assistant coach Jin Dayi has become the head coach of Suzhou Dongwu.
Suzhou Dongwu Football Club has reached a friendly agreement with Mr. Kim Dae Yi and his team to hire Korean coach Kim Dae Yi as the head coach of the first team with immediate effect. Korean technical analyst Lee Jianmu and physical fitness coach Yoon Jun Sung will also join the coaching team, and together with the Chinese coaching team, under the leadership of Mr. Kim Dae Yi, we will strive to achieve the goals of the club in the new season, and dedicate more exciting matches for the majority of fans!
Kim Dae-yi, a South Korean national born on May 30, 1974, is an AFC professional level coach. He played for Chiba Ichihara in Japan, Seongnam Ilhwa and Suwon Samsung in South Korea. He was selected for the South Korean national team, played 13 A-level matches for the national team, and participated in two World Cup qualifiers. After his retirement, he served as the head coach of Singapore Home United FC, the head coach of Suwon Samsung FC U18 team, the scout of Suwon Samsung, and the head coach of Suwon FC.
After arriving in China in 2021, Kim Dae-yi served as the chief assistant coach at Chengdu Rongcheng Football Club, where he succeeded in the Super League with the team in the 2021 season, and in the 2022 season had led Chengdu Rongcheng to a victory in its Phoenix Hill CSL debut as an executive coach.
Jin Dayi has coached in the Central League and the Chinese Super League and is familiar with Chinese soccer. He has strong professionalism, outstanding results with the team, and is good at exploring and developing young players.
Lee is a South Korean national born on May 14, 1995. He graduated from Jeonju University in 2021 with a degree in soccer, and has worked as a technical analyst for Gimhae FC, Jeju United, and Sangju Sangmu. He won the K2 League title in 2021, and then joined the Shenzhen team in 2022 as a technical analyst, assisting the famous coach, Lee Jang-soo. Prior to joining Suzhou Dongwu, Lee served as a technical analyst for the Korean National Olympic Team.
Li Jianmu has excellent analytical skills and in-depth insight into technical and tactical issues, and has 10 years of experience in technical analysis, so his addition will further improve the team's tactical system.
Yoon Jun-seong is a South Korean national born on September 28, 1989. He played for Pohang Ironmen, Daejeon Citizens, and Sangju Sangmu in the K1 League, winning the K-League Championship and the KFA Cup, etc. In 2022-2023, he worked as an assistant coach at Anyang FC in the K2 League. Yoon Jun-seong has played for a long time in Korea's top league and has rich practical experience as well as modern soccer concepts, and his joining the team will inject new impetus into the team.
