China's national soccer team reportedly went down 1-2 to Hong Kong, China in a Jan. 2 match. Since then, media personality Li Xuan took to social media to suggest that the team take a day off in order to make adjustments.
Yankovic showed how strict he is about team management when he let Li Ke leave the team for being late for training during the National Football League build-up.
Media personality Li Xuan suggested on social media that after consecutive losses to Oman and Hong Kong, China in warm-up matches:
"Yankovic said before the match: if the warm-up match with Hong Kong, China played well, everyone take a day off.
Losing is also a vacation, so the Asian Cup didn't start, the national soccer team collapsed and practiced for so many days anyway, and it's more likely to be counterproductive to blindly crack down on harsh punishments."
