Who are the member countries of the Oceania Football Association

The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is responsible for the administration of soccer in Oceania and the promotion of the game in Oceania. It represents all the soccer associations in Oceania and is one of the six FIFA continental soccer associations, assisting FIFA in the selection of teams for the World Cup through the qualifying rounds. It is currently headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand.

The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) was founded in 1966 by Australia, New Zealand and Fiji, and in 1996 FIFA agreed to become one of the executive members of the Confederation, and in the same year re-established the Oceania Cup of Nations, which is open to all members of the Confederation and is held at two-year intervals, and in 1999 re-established the Oceania Club Champions Trophy, which is open to the winning team to compete in the World Club Champions Trophy.

Australia switched to the Asian Football Confederation after 2006. This led to New Zealand replacing Australia as the soccer powerhouse in the Oceania region.
