AC Milan Hall of Fame
The first player to be inducted into the AC Milan Hall of Fame was Baresi, who joined the Milan youth system in 1972 and made his debut for the first team in 1977, serving the Red and Black for the next 20 years until his retirement in 1997. During his Milan career, Baresi made a total of 719 official appearances and won numerous important titles, including six Serie A and three Champions League titles, and currently serves as honorary vice-president of Milan.
Following the recognition, Baresi, 64, said, "I am deeply honored to have been chosen by AC Milan as the first inductee into the Hall of Fame, which represents the illustrious history of this club and celebrates 50 years of my career in red and black."
"This recognition makes me doubly proud that AC Milan is more than just victories and titles, it embodies style, passion and sacrifice - values and personalities that have made this club great, and I hope that this project will inspire future generations to continue to build on our legacy.
