Chan Yuen Ting's coaching career
On December 8, 2015, Meizhou Wuhua announced on their official microblog that Orient head coach Yeung Ching-kwong has joined the team as an assistant coach and interpreter, while Orient head coach Chan Yuen-ting will take over the role of assistant coach, making Chan Yuen-ting the first female coach in the history of Hong Kong's top league. Chan Yuen Ting will be in charge of Orient from December 9th until December 14th, when she will take over the reins of Orient for the first time.
In July 2016, Chan Yuen-ting was invited to coach the Spanish second division (Spain's third tier) team Humilia, which is owned by a mainland businessman.
