In a recent interview with the media, French striker Olivier Giroud spoke about Los Angeles' interest in Griezmann. According to As, Major League Soccer (MLS) is actively pursuing the signing of the striker, who is in the twilight of his career, and Griezmann's decision to retire from the French national team seems to confirm that he is preparing for the next phase of his career.
Giroud said, "As far as I know, there has been contact between Griezmann and Los Angeles. If he ends up joining Los Angeles and is reunited with Lowry there, then the three of us (Giroud, Griezmann, Lowry) will have a chance to get together again and that would be wonderful."
Griezmann is currently under contract with Atletico Madrid until June 2026, when he will turn 35 years old. While he still has a competitive career ahead of him, the offer from Los Angeles certainly provides him with a whole new arena, a place where he can continue to shine in the later stages of his career.
