Hrafenbech began by saying that Sloter has given him more confidence to take control of the game. He said, "Coach Sloter made me believe in my ability to take control of the game and that I just need to do what I'm supposed to do, and that's what I've tried and practiced before at Ajax."
Speaking about his interaction with Slaughter, Hrafenbech revealed that their conversations cover both soccer and life. He said, "He and I talk about everything, but it mainly revolves around the soccer side of things. We'll talk about our experiences last season and we'll also share a few moments from our lives. We have a great relationship and I'm really happy he's here to coach."
Hrafenbech also emphasized how well Sloter's tactical philosophy fits his personal style. He said, "Our ideas coincide, Coach Sloter loves soccer and he's a big fan of attacking tactics from the backfield, which is a great fit for me because I like to be involved in the team's offense."
Speaking about his future at Liverpool, Hrafenbech said he has set clear goals for the season. He said, "I'm at Liverpool now and it's a top club. My goal last season was to play more than the season before and I have achieved that. This season, my goal is to play more games than last season and I am now making steady progress towards that goal."
The young 22-year-old midfielder has made nine appearances for Liverpool so far this season, all of which have been starts. His contract is set to expire in 2028, which certainly provides Liverpool with a long-term stable midfield option.
