Why did you leave Dongguan Guanlian FC after being nominated as the best manager?
Answer: it's about communication and choices, and different people in different positions may answer differently, but I believe it's the best outcome after much thought.
May I ask, what is your assessment of your coaching performance this season?
My point is, very close to perfection! If a season is understood as a program, there are three important factors to consider: cost, time and quality.
As far as cost is concerned, Dongguan Guanlian FC is a low-cost operation and an operational philosophy of bringing in players, coaches, and staff, so it should be one of the least invested clubs in the Central League.
Considering the time factor, training could only begin in early April as the team went through major changes at the beginning of the year. The coaching staff and players were not really complete until mid-April, and even the foreign aiders had to arrive after the start of the league. Thus, in terms of time, the team had to complete the program under tight deadlines.
In terms of quality, the team finished seventh in the league, and it should be noted that the top six teams in the Central League have invested more than several times the amount of money in the league, so this result has completely exceeded the club's mission and goals at the beginning of the year.
Dongguan Guanlian's 17 and 18 year olds have excelled this year as they have been given many opportunities and plenty of playing time on the field. Their outstanding performances were reflected in key statistics, including six goals and three assists. In addition, they scored important goals in key games and at crucial moments, contributing greatly to the team's early relegation finish.
Accomplishing these targets means that Dongguan Guanlian will no longer have to worry about the U21 player pool in recent seasons.
A few years ago, Wang Hongwei was the youngest head coach in China's third tier of professional soccer. Over the years, he has stepped up to the grind in the grassroots leagues while accumulating a wealth of coaching experience.

Answer: Currently I am in Tianjin for a graduate program and will go to spend time with my family when I finish. As for the next plan, I will depend on fate and wait actively.
