
FIFA released its latest men's soccer world rankings on Nov. 30, with Argentina and France in the top two spots, England rising to third, and Brazil dropping to fifth. China's ranking remained unchanged during this period, continuing to rank 79th in the world and 11th in Asia.
The Chinese men's soccer team first defeated Thailand 2-1 before losing 0-3 to South Korea in the Asian qualifying round of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in November. Although China's points improved slightly, they still ranked 11th in Asia.
