Yan Zhi, former team owner of Wuhan Zall, recently published a long poem titled Time in Harvest Magazine, with 1,500 lines and 100 stanzas.
According to sources, Yan Zhi works as a poet and writer, and his works include the poetry collections Birds of Childhood, Psalms of Tomorrow, South of Dabie Mountain, and Juvenile Rhetoric, as well as the full-length narrative poems Elegy and Remembrance. In addition, he has also written works of fiction, such as Young Man Goes Wandering and Wuhan Love. His works have won many awards and have been translated into English, French, Japanese, Mongolian, Korean, Russian and many other languages.
Yan Zhi used to be the owner of the former Chinese Super League team Wuhan Zall and has been investing and helping the club since 2009. In 2018, the team won the Central League Championship and managed to get promoted. However, the good times didn't last long and by the 2022 season, Wuhan was relegated and faced issues with unpaid wages. Eventually, in January 2023, Yan Zhi announced the dissolution of the club and his retirement from Chinese soccer.
