In an interview with a reporter from Yanbian Radio and Television, the Kim Bong-gil boss said that he plans to try to lead the team to challenge for the Super League in the next season.
Yanbian Longdings finished the 2023 season in 8th place in the Central League.
Comment on the team's performance this season
"I don't think it's a disappointing result, however the fans always have expectations and look forward to the team's promotion to the Super League. Next year, we need to work harder to achieve better results. This season we have done quite well at home, maintaining an undefeated record, but our performance on the road has not been as good as we would have liked. From this perspective, I think I need to study harder and prepare better."
