According to the latest report from Turin Sporting News, Juventus is facing a shortage of personnel in the backline after star center back Bremer suffered a serious injury, and the club is actively looking for a solution and is interested in bringing in Bologna's Bikema and Arsenal's Kivior.
Previously, Juventus had considered their backline to be well-staffed during the summer transfer window and were therefore open to moves for Jallow and Rugani. However, Bremer's serious injury has quickly elevated the club's defender issues to a top priority. Currently, the team's Danilo and Kaval have yet to fully convince the coaching staff with their performances, while Savona and Locatelli have the ability to play as guest center backs, but it is not a permanent solution.
Faced with this predicament, Juventus' management, Motta and Jontoli, after fully realizing the seriousness of the problem, began to actively look for alternatives. They not only explored the free agent market, but also had a look at Ajax's young center back Hato, but his asking price was too high and beyond Juve's acceptable range.
Currently, Juventus' main target has been locked on Arsenal's defender Kivior and Bologna's defender Bikema. Both players have experience working with Juventus' manager Juan Motta, and are therefore considered to be more ideal candidates for reinforcement.
Meanwhile, Juventus are still considering other possible options. Feyenoord's Facundo Gonzalez and Sassuolo's Muharemovic are likely to end their loans early and return to Juventus. There is also a possibility that Juventus could promote youngster Pedro Felipe to the club's first-team squad to deal with an urgent need at the back.
