Former Chilean international Matias Fernandez recently looked back on his career and shared his current state of life in an interview. He confessed that his physical condition restricted him from joining top clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Fernandes said that he is satisfied with his performances at a number of clubs such as Colo Colo, Villarreal, Sporting Portugal, Fiorentina, AC Milan and many others that have seen him grow and struggle. He has also helped his club win several titles, while at the national team level he has also participated in the World Cup and won the Copa America.

Despite failing to join a top club in his career, Fernandez has no regrets. He believes that his physical condition limits him, especially in situations where he is required to play frequently, and that his performances can drop dramatically.

Today, Fernandez has transitioned into a full-time dad, taking care of his four children and driving them to and from school and various sports activities every day. He is both excited and open-minded about his children's futures, especially since the oldest, Angel, 8, is training in soccer, but he doesn't force his children to follow the path of soccer.

In addition to his role as a full-time dad, Fernandez runs his own company, Marty 14, which provides personalized sports activities for children ages 6 to 14. He has also created a children's sports brand and donates some of his products to underprivileged families to give back to the community. In addition, Fernandes is taking coaching courses with the possibility of becoming a coach in the future. He even plans to enter into a partnership with Sport Portugal to provide quality soccer training to more Chilean youth.

Despite failing to join a top club, Fernandez has had an impressive career. With his hard work and perseverance, he proved that even with limited physical conditions, he can still make his mark in the soccer world. And now, he is continuing his soccer life in another way, contributing to children and soccer.
