Klopp, who will take over on January 1, 2025, has signed a long-term contract with the Red Bulls.
Klopp also has a departure option in his contract, which could put him as a potential successor to Nagelsmann as the future manager of the German national team.
From January next year, Klopp will advise all Red Bull's teams (Red Bull Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg, Red Bull New York, etc.) on coaching matters, playing philosophy, player and coach development and transfers. Red Bull managing director Oliver Mintzlaff is determined to sign Klopp.
Klopp, 57, has coached Mainz, Dortmund and Liverpool. He stepped down as Liverpool boss this summer, ending eight and a half years in charge.
