At the Asian Games, the Chinese men's soccer team made it to the top 8 again after 17 years. However, the top 8 were up against the favorites in this tournament, South Korea. The probability of losing is high because many people in China's Asian Games missed this game.

Many say that China is the current host, so why can't they find a way to avoid South Korea? Zhao Zhen's celebrity writer has the answer.

Zhao Zhen, a former soccer reporter and agent, said on social media platforms that he asked, reportedly, the national football team wanted to avoid the South Korean team, but the AFC disagreed and did not allow the Chinese team to choose a half zone. At the Football Association, people familiar with the AFC went in.

In this year's Asian Games, China has been assigned to Group A. Bangladesh, India and Myanmar are also in the same group. South Korea is in Group E, with Bahrain, Thailand and Kuwait in the same group. Once both teams finished first in the group, they would meet in the semifinals. The result was as expected before the tournament.

Because Asian Games champions are exempt from military service. For Korean soccer players, this is the only way to escape. Therefore, whenever the Asian Games come around, they try their best.

Why should Korea be avoided? Actually, the request is perfectly reasonable. In the last Asian Games, the winner was South Korea. The national soccer team was the main leader of the tournament. It stands to reason that the hosts and defending champions are the top 2 seeds in the tournament, and most tournaments wouldn't have them in one half of the bracket.

Based on the way some of the other matches were played, South Korea would have been more deserving of being assigned to Group F and their position determined prior to the draw.

Many people say that the national soccer team has good luck in signing for the Asian Games, and the teams in the same group are not strong. But the rules of the Asian Games tournament allow the top two and third place finishers in each group to advance. So as long as you get second place points in the group stage, you have a good chance of advancing. The strength of the group opponents is of little relevance.

In the group where the national soccer team is located, the second Indian top 16 met Saudi Arabia, the second in Group B, and Myanmar's third place met Japan, the first in Group D. In other words, no matter how much the national football team gets in the group stage, the next match will not have an easy schedule.

I made a point of checking the fixtures for previous years' Asian Games. after Indonesia came first in their group in '18, I met the UAE, the third team in Group C of the national soccer team, and was eliminated. If they win, their next opponents will be Group F 2nd and Group B 2nd. There will be no first place in any group until the semifinals.

The Incheon Asian Games '14 was special in that it was divided into 8 groups, with the top 2 in the group making the cut.

At the 10-year Guangzhou Asian Games, the national soccer team had no other group winners in the round of 16 (third in Group D) and the round of 8 (second in Group B and second in Group F) after finishing first in Group A. However, the national soccer team lost to Japan in the group stage and did not finish first in the group.

It's no excuse that people who supposedly know AFC got in. before the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, Nan Yong, Xie Yalong and Yang Yimin were also taken away. The grouping of the Chinese team is reasonable. Weidi was the head of the AFC at the time.
