All the group matches of the men's soccer team at the Asian Games in Hangzhou were completed today. In Group D, Palestine lost to Japan 0-1. Due to goal difference, they pipped Qatar to the second place in the group. Qatar ranked third in the group and will play against the Chinese Men's Asian Games team in the 1/8 final.
According to the rules of the tournament, the top 2 of 6 groups and the 3rd of 4 groups make up the knockout round of 16.
