Spanish women's soccer player Bon Mattei was voted Women's Player of the Year on September 1, according to UEFA officials.
In the 2022/23 season, Bonmati won many honors with Barcelona, such as the Western Women's First Division title and the Women's Football Champions League title. She herself won the Champions League Season's Player of the Year and Barcelona Season's Player of the Year.
At this summer's Women's World Cup, Bonmati won World Cup Player of the Year with the Spanish women's soccer team. Now, the midfielder has been voted UEFA Women's Player of the Year.
