According to the plan, the Chinese men's Asian Games will be concentrated on September 2 in Hangzhou. A day later, the Chinese men's soccer team will also blow a new training rallying cry. According to the Beijing Youth Daily reporter, after the CFA communicated with the Sichuan Provincial Football Association and the relevant parties in Chengdu, the national football team finally arranged this training and two warm-up matches in Chengdu as originally planned. The CFA is expected to announce the training notice of the two national teams on August 30th. Among the players of the two teams, only the men's Asian Games international player Wu Shaocong has not confirmed whether he can return to the team as scheduled because he stays in the Turkish League.
After the second phase of the Chinese Super League ends on Aug. 27, national teams at all levels will use the September international match days (Sept. 4-12) for new training. Among other things, the Chinese men's soccer team will regroup on Sept. 3 to prepare for international A-level warm-up matches against Malaysia and Syria on Sept. 9 and 12; the Chinese men's Asian Games will also regroup on Sept. 2 to prepare for the Hangzhou Asian Games soccer tournament; and the 2001 China Olympics will be held in Dalian from Sept. 6 to 12 for the sixth U23 Asian Cup qualifier and the Paris Olympics Men's Soccer Qualifying Tournament Asian Zone first match.
Prior to this, affected by objective factors, the national football team in September training and warm-up options encountered an "episode". The preferred host city of Chengdu may not be able to organize the game for some reason. But after active communication between all parties, the national football training and competition venues are still arranged according to the original plan in Chengdu, the home stadium for the Phoenix Hill Sports Park professional stadium.
The announcement of the new training session for the men's soccer team for the Asian Games will also be made soon. It is understood that the coaching staffs of the two national teams have already finalized their respective international player candidates. If nothing else, Barton, the overage international who helped the men's soccer team at the Asian Games in June, will return to the national team. The overage player slot he left behind will probably be "given" to Taishan's left-footer Liu Yang.
In terms of personnel call-ups for both teams, the only variable at the moment is men's soccer player of Asian Games age Wu Shao Cong. This summer, 23-year-old Wu Shaocong left Turkish Super League club Istanbul Basaksehir for a loan with a youth league club (Turkey's second professional league). In the first three rounds of the Turkish Liga at the end of the new season, Wu started consecutively and played all the matches. Wu Shaochong can stand firm in the Turkish League, undoubtedly conducive to accelerate their growth. However, most of the Hangzhou Asian Games soccer matches are also scheduled on non-international match days, so men's soccer and the Asian Games will need to adjust his music.
Prior to this, the Men's Asian Games coaching staff was very eager to recruit Wu Shaocong for the Hangzhou Asian Games. However, whether the club is willing to release remains unknown. Currently, all parties are still communicating on the matter.
It is understood that in the early stages of training, the men's Asian Games coaching staff will recruit no more than 24 players to take part in the training, because some young players, including Liu Zhurun, are preparing for the Olympic preliminaries. On September 13, these players will travel to Hangzhou to meet with the men's Asian Games on the second day after the end of the last round of the group stage of the Olympic preliminaries.
