A: In the first 20 rounds of the Chinese Super League, you were ranked first on the saves list, how do you evaluate this statistic?
Mou Pengfei talked about his performance in the game, pointing out that there are two aspects to consider. On the one hand, he believes that he still has areas that need to be summarized and improved; on the other hand, he believes that his teammates' defense was also very good, as the opponent's shots were not very difficult, which gave him more chances to make saves.
Q: After the relegation of Qingdao Hainiu in 2013, you went to many teams, among which in 2019, you represented the Beijingers and played in the Chinese Super League. Now, three years later, you are back in the Chinese Super League. How do you think the Chinese Super League has changed from before?
Mou Pengfei: I first played in the Chinese Super League in 2012, then two years in a row. After the team was relegated, I also played in the China A League, China B League and so on, and I didn't start playing in the Chinese Super League until 2019. This time I'm happy to come back to the Chinese Super League. China B League has no foreign aid. China A-League has foreign aid, but the level of foreign aid is far from the Chinese Super League. When I first came back to the CSL, I actually couldn't find the rhythm of the game. The Chinese Super League is much faster paced, the foreign aid is much stronger, and it is much more difficult to shoot and save, but after a period of time to adapt, the situation gradually improved.
Q: You've been friends with Zhen Li for many years, right? How does it feel to walk around and get together again?
Mou Pengfei: I recognized Zhenli too early. Now the team has veterans like Jiang Ning, Zheng Long and Sha Yibo. We got together to work for Qingdao soccer. We feel very happy and cherished.
Q: What are the future plans? What wishes remain unfulfilled?
Mou Pengfei said: I am 34 years old this year, but I still hope to continue to play for a few more years and play for Qingdao for many more years. I also hope that the younger players will play as soon as possible.
