According to August 7, 2023, England women's football team eliminated Nigeria women's football team through penalty kicks in the 1/8 final of Women's World Cup and managed to advance to the last eight. During the match, Lauren James stepped on an opposing player, which resulted in a red card. After the match, England women's soccer player Carter showed her support to Sister James.
"Lauren is still a young player. We can see that she is full of talent, but Lauren, like all of us, has a lot to learn.
