After making his debut with Brazilian soccer club Ituano, Malcolm played for South Korean side Gyeongnam FC and Chinese side Hebei. Malcolm moved on July 19, 2021 to join Wuhan Sanzhen Football Club.
In a year and a half with the team, Malcolm played 46 matches in various competitions for Wuhan Three Town, contributing 39 goals and 3 assists, and was crowned the 2022 Chinese Super League Golden Boot with 27 goals, contributing to Wuhan Three Town winning the Chinese Super League title. Malcolm moved on January 21, 2023 to join Saudi Arabia side Jeddah National.
