On July 17 at 10:00 a.m., the Chinese women's soccer team will play a warm-up match in Sydney against the Colombian women's soccer team. This is the last official warm-up match for the Chinese women's soccer team before the World Cup. After a 90-minute battle, the Chinese women's soccer team drew 2-2 with the Colombian women's soccer team.

20 minutes into the first half, Colombia attacked from the left, the pass led to the Chinese team oolong, 0.:1 behind. Two minutes later, China's forward positioning ball, Zhang Xin penalty box, Wu Chengshu grabbed a header, equalizing the score.

In the 31st minute, China got a set piece in front of the goal, Zhang Rui was penalized into the penalty area, Wu Chengshu grabbed a header to break the goal, 2 minutes:1 back. Near the end of the first half, China committed a foul in the penalty area, resulting in a penalty kick, Colombia equalized the score from the penalty kick.

In the second half, both teams rotated and created scoring chances, but neither team was able to convert their scores and the final 2 teams :2 drew.

The Chinese team will travel to Sydney Airport first thing after the match to return to Adelaide on an 18.40pm flight. The flight is expected to arrive in Adelaide at 17.09.35 that evening.
