Bale loves Tottenham.

On May 25, 2007 Tottenham Hotspur completed the transfer process, signing a four-year deal. The transfer fee was 5 million pounds sterling, but with a rider that gave Bale the chance to eventually add up to 10 million pounds sterling if he performed well.

Gareth Bale made his debut for Tottenham Hotspur in a pre-season friendly against St. Patrick's on July 12, but was substituted in the 80th minute with a minor injury. His official debut came on August 26 at Old Trafford against Manchester United. He has been in good form, scoring three goals in four matches since he joined the team.

On December 2, 2007, after leaving the field following an interception by Mayumba in a 2-3 league loss to Birmingham, scans showed that Bale had suffered ligament damage to his right ankle, and would need to wait and see how his injury fared for a longer period of time.

2008/09 Season

In August 2008, Bale signed a new four-year contract with the club. Bale was surprised and honored to receive the award, as the former winner of the award had contributed a lot, and hoped that he would be able to succeed for the national team in the future.On October 20, Bale visited the San Siro stadium in the third round of the UEFA Europa League group stage to face the reigning European champions, Inter Milan, staged the first individual hat-trick for the adult team, and led the Spurs, who had already trailed 0-4 in the first 35 minutes of the game, to pursue in the disadvantageous situation, and eventually the Spurs only lost 3-4, and the Spurs only lost 3-4, and the Spurs only lost 3-4 in the final. 2011/12 Season

On April 28th, Bale won the PFA Mr. Player, the best young player award and the FWA Mr. Soccer in a row, and became the second player to win these three awards, following Cristiano Ronaldo in 2007! Bale has become the second player after Cristiano Ronaldo in 2007 to win all three of these awards. However, Tottenham Hotspur were passive in the race for the Premier League standings, and eventually finished the league in fifth place, and had to move on to the UEFA Europa League for the third consecutive year.
