Asked if he would like to return to coaching the U21s, Carsley said, "Coaching the U21s is a job I'm proud of and I put a lot of energy into it. But there are no guarantees in life, including the result of tomorrow's game. My plan is to do the job as well as I can with the coaching staff during these three camps and hopefully we will be in a good position. As far as the future goes, it all goes with the flow."
Finally, Kasli emphasized the importance of the game against Finland, "The most important thing tomorrow is to respond, it's a game that the players are really looking forward to. We need to boost our morale and show what we are made of by winning."
