According to well-known journalist Moretto of authoritative Spanish media outlet Relevo, French midfielder Chouamene, 24, has no intention of joining Premier League giants Liverpool, and only wants to remain at La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid.
Chouamene moved to Real Madrid from Monaco in the summer of 2022 and quickly became an important part of the team. He has a six-year contract with Real Madrid which will expire in the summer of 2028. Prior to joining Real Madrid, Chouamene was rumored to have a transfer with Liverpool, but similar rumors that resurfaced recently have been cleared up by reports from Moretto.
According to Moretto, Chouamene is not at all interested in a move to Liverpool and he is currently focused on playing for Real Madrid. So far this season, Chouamene has made 11 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions and has started all of them, which proves his importance in the team.
Choumani's firm stance on staying in the team is certainly good news for Real Madrid. As the season progresses, Real Madrid will continue to rely on the young and talented midfielder to drive the team forward and strive for good results in all competitions.
