In fact, there are various grass-roots leagues not only in Guizhou, but also throughout the country: for example, a "community league" was held in Chengyang District, Qingdao. Licheng District in Jinan City launched the Licheng "Sunhua Cup" villagers' soccer league, with 30 teams from 14 streets participating in the competition. In the "hometown of soccer" Meizhou, various town-level leagues and village leagues are held year-round. The Wuhua County Hengpi Township "Village Revitalization Cup" was held last year with the participation of 19 village teams from the township.
According to the comments of the soccer newspaper, the real significance of the "village super" does not lie in the level of competition, but in the most basic level to change the ecology of soccer: Chinese soccer has always been the core of the competition, but ignored the construction of soccer ecology and soccer culture, ignored the maintenance and enhancement of the fans, and thus become a source of water for the level of competition.
A good soccer ecology should include flourishing school soccer, hot youth leagues, quality professional leagues (Chinese Super League, Chinese First Division, Chinese Second Division) and corresponding multi-level leagues at the provincial, municipal and district levels. The core of such an ecology is to expand the fan population and expand the youth soccer population, thus creating a fiery soccer atmosphere and culture, thus solving the competition problem.
