The U17 national soccer team arrived in Bangkok, Thailand on the evening of June 3 to make final preparations for the U17 Asian Cup, which starts on June 17, according to Beijing Youth Daily. However, the team is currently facing two major difficulties.
The first problem is the weather and climate. In recent days, the daytime temperature in Bangkok exceeded 35 degrees and the humidity was very high. In this case, the coaching team led by Yang Chen had to control the training volume of the whole team appropriately, such as "two practices a day" and "one practice a day", and the intensity of training was reduced.
Another major issue affecting the preparation of the U17 national soccer team is the team's lack of quality warm-ups before matches. In fact, the team has not participated in any official warm-up matches in the past month. This is also affected by factors such as opponent slotting and declaration procedures as to whether the team will be able to get in touch with warm-up opponents during their preparation in Bangkok.
As scheduled, the U17 national soccer team will leave Bangkok on June 13 to travel to Chonburi, the venue for the group stage matches, and face Tajikistan on the following 17th.
