According to Football Daily, Liu Qian, the principal of Evergrande Football School, will concurrently hold the post of chairman of Guangzhou Football Club from today.
After graduating from Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management with a major in business administration in 2013, Liu Qian entered Evergrande Football School and then went to Spain to serve as the principal of the branch school. Liu Qian returned to Evergrande Football School from Spain in February 2022, and on May 6 this year, Evergrande Group formally released a document internally, appointing Liu Qian as the principal of Evergrande Football School.
Guangzhou have failed to win anything this season, earning just two draws and four defeats, and are currently 14th in the Central League.
