In the 3rd round of the UEFA Europa League Group A League match on October 13, Beijing time, Switzerland defeated Serbia 0-2. After the match, Swiss goalkeeper Kobel accepted the media's interview, reviewing and analyzing the key moments in the match and the team's overall performance.

Speaking about Switzerland's second goal conceded, Kobel said, "In that goal, Akanji tried to block the near post. The most difficult situation for a goalkeeper is when someone shoots from between their legs. In that moment, I didn't actually see the ball and they had a fantastic shot. I was only half a second off, so I didn't react in time. The goal conceded was not Akanji's fault, he did his best in that position."

Kobel further analyzed his team's performance in the match, "We played pretty well in the opening stages of the game, but the field was in really bad condition and that had an impact on our performance. We tried to organize our attacks from the back, but the Serbian team was very tight on Zaka and didn't allow him to play the ball easily from the back. We didn't adapt quickly to the situation and it was clearly not a game in which we played well."

He continued, "We would have liked to organize more attacks from the back, but possession wasn't in our hands and they played really well. We had a lot of difficulties in the game but we will learn from this loss and try to improve our performance."
