In a recent interview with BR24, Bayern Munich president Hainer spoke highly of the performance of the team's new head coach Vincent Kompany and expressed his expectations for the team's future.
Hainer said, "We are very happy with manager Kompany. Starting with Eberl (Bayern Munich's sports director), to the board of directors, to Hernandez and Rummenigge (Bayern Munich's former top leadership), all of us are very happy with Kompany's performance. Because we saw highly attractive soccer, the kind of soccer that hasn't been seen at Bayern for years."
He further emphasized, "If you watched last Sunday's game at home in Frankfurt, you'll see that it was the kind of soccer characterized by dominance and control that you haven't seen in a long time. Even though we didn't win the game in the end, Kompany brought a new dynamic to the team and it was evident."
Haina also revealed that Kompany's arrival has not only changed the team's style of play, but also brought a positive change in training: "There is a lot of joy and fun in training and the players seem to be full of fight and confidence. This is what we envisioned and what we want. We are confident that under Kompany's leadership, Bayern will get back on the winning track."
On the team's future performance, Haina expressed his expectation: "Yes, the victory will come. We have a strong team and now with Kompany at the helm, we believe the team can overcome the difficulties and achieve better results. We have full confidence in Bayern's future."
Kompany has really brought a lot of new weather to Bayern since he took over. His tactical philosophy and training methods have been recognized by the players and fans alike. Although there are still some areas that need to be improved in the game, the trust and support of Heiner and Bayern's top management to Kompany is obvious.
With the gradual integration of Kompany into the team, Bayern Munich is also expected to show more strength in the coming matches. Fans are looking forward to seeing Bayern return to the top under Kompany's leadership and win the various tournaments again.
