May 11 - Zheng Long made his 300th appearance in China's highest level league in last night's Qingdao Hainiu match against Shanghai Seaport.
Zheng Long is 35 years old. Last night, he made his debut for Qingdao Hainiu, completing his 300th game in China's top flight. The frontman scored 44 goals and Zheng Long became the 39th player to do so.
Zheng Long started his career at Qingdao Zhongneng (now Qingdao Hainiu) and made his top-flight debut in 2007. Since then, he has enjoyed success with both Guangzhou Evergrande and Dalian (Dalian), winning the Chinese Super League title four times with Evergrande. Zheng Long returned to the Qingdao Sea Cowboys for the 2022 season, scoring 22 goals in the Central League last season to help the team get promoted.
