According to Italian media outlet Leggo, the Roma club plans to bring in a striker in the upcoming winter transfer window to boost the team's attacking power. Among several potential targets, AC Milan's attacker Jovic has become the focus of the Red Wolves.
Jovic's name was previously linked to Serie A giants Juventus, but according to Leggo's latest claims, the transfer rumors between Jovic and Juventus have died down and the two sides seem to have "drifted apart".
The report further reveals that Roma are looking to find a reliable replacement for striker Dovbic, who is currently playing for the team. Considering the team's needs in the forward line, Roma plans to make a move in the winter transfer market next January to bring in a new forward player.
In addition to Everton's Beto, AC Milan's Jovic has also become one of Roma's options. So far this season, Jovic's appearances in AC Milan have been limited, representing the team only 3 times, of which 1 was a start, with a total playing time of only 78 minutes. This kind of appearance record is obviously not ideal for a striker who is in his prime.
