In an interview on the club's official program, player Maduekai spoke highly of the performances of teammates Colville and Wesley Fofana and believes the two can complement each other well on the field.
Madouekei began by praising Colwell's outstanding performance at center back, "Colwell is doing a great job at center back, which is a great position for him, even though he's doing just as well at left back. He'll lead the team as far as he can and it's always fun to play with a friend."
Maduekai then spoke about the different roles of Wesley Fofana and Colwell and how they complement each other, "Wesley Fofana and Colwell are very different roles, but they do complement each other. Wesley Fofana is good at pushing forward with the ball, while Colwell is adept at passing."
Maduekai further explained the exact division of labor between the two on the field, "Fofana stands forward and is more of an attacking organizer, while Colwell is more of a clearing house, defending and clearing dangerous areas. But if there's a game that requires all of us to be involved in the attack, then Colville can do the same, he's a great ball handler and Wesley is a sharp attacker."
Madueke's comments not only show his in-depth knowledge of his teammates, but also the good atmosphere and unity within the team. He believes that with the joint efforts of Colville and Wesley Fofana, the team's defense will be more solid and the offense will be sharper.
