The opening match of the new Central League season was held this afternoon between Dongguan Guanlian and Wuxi Wuhu, as well as the opening ceremony of the new Central League season at the home of Dongguan Guanlian.
At the opening ceremony, the logos of the 16 teams in the new Central League season were displayed, including Sichuan Jiuniu, who have just issued a statement saying they may quit. Feng Xiaoting, a veteran who just joined Dongguan Guanlian, took the oath as a player representative.
Somewhat unfortunately, Dongguan Guanlian's home fans weren't allowed to be there as the stadium was undergoing renovations.
